In his previous position as Vice President of Physician Services Dr. Tehrani developed and oversaw the Hospitalist programs for UNC REX Health in Raleigh, NC, Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, NC and Johnston Health Hospitals in Smithfield, NC and Clayton, NC. He also oversaw the Neurosciences Service Line, Intensivists, Neonatologists, Gastroenterologists and Pulmonologists at UNC REX Health. Dr. Tehrani has served on numerous medical staff committees, was the past Chairman of the Department of Medicine and the Medical Director of Information Technology at UNC REX Health.
